Marketplace function

OIDO's marketplace function enables easy centralised ordering and payment from suppliers with multiple, geographically separate production sites – such as marketplaces or food courts. It bundles processes, reduces errors and offers guests and operators a modern, fast and flexible ordering and service experience.

How it works

In marketplaces, food courts, events or modern catering concepts, there are often several spatially separated providers (e.g. different food trucks) who sell food and drinks together. It is often inconvenient for guests to queue up, order and pay at each provider individually. For operators, this creates organisational effort to distribute orders and payments correctly to the respective providers. There is also often a lack of standardised processes for payment, collection and table service.

OIDO enables a centralised ordering and payment process for complex catering situations such as food courts:

Centralised, comprehensive online menu: Guests can view the menus of all participating producers in an OIDO menu. They can combine different products from different production sites and combine them in a single order.

Central payment: The entire order can be paid for in one step and as a total amount centrally – directly on the mobile phone.

Relevance control: After ordering, each producer is only shown the part of the order for which they are responsible.

Identification upon collection: For self-collection, the customer simply shows their order QR code on their mobile phone (appears on the digital receipt).

Table service: For table service, the table is clearly assigned by the table code when the order is placed, so that each order can be delivered directly to the correct table.
